We have provided below the steps that an entrepreneur can expect to follow from initial idea submission to final funding and formation, if that is achieved.

Step 1
Submit your funding request on the submission form which is part of this website. Click on funding request page or the large blue button. Fill-in the required information. Read the confidentiality page: it will be a mutually binding agreement if you submit your funding request through the NPDC website. Send this by e-mail to us using the "submit" button at the end of the form. There are no fees owed for this submission. At this stage, your request will only be reviewed by Spencer Clarke management and investment bankers.

Step 2
Within four weeks of submission we will review your request and contact you indicating whether or not we wish to pursue a relationship or if we need more time for review. At any time, you may withdraw your request from consideration.

Step 3
If we wish to pursue a relationship, Spencer Clarke will send you a contract specifying our standard terms for such an engagement. These terms include a mixture of cash fees, equity and options. Please understand that you will owe nothing unless you sign the contract.

Step 4
Your signed contract will engage Spencer Clarke as your investment banker, and the SC investment banking team will work with you to create an executive summary and Private Placement Memorandum, allowing your funding request to be presented to potential investors.
